Celandine (MK#42)

This is another edging with corners from Mary Konior. This pattern is found in her book 'Tatting Patterns' on pg 11. The flowers are tatted first before starting the edging so I decided to tat them in a different colour.

  1. How beautiful! I went to my book to see if I had it...wrong book! So sad. But thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece.

  2. Oooh, I especially like the top one and then I wondered why it seemed narrower than the second one but I see there are some alterations. The square one is beautiful too. I'm thinking these would frame something very nicely on a pillow as well as a photo frame.

  3. Hi Nancy,
This is found in 'Tatting Patterns'. Glad you like the pattern.

    Hi Gina,
The top one only had one set of the leaf edging. The white one had two sets of the leaf edging. It's amazing how different they look. I tatted the white one for Pat and then tatted the purple one to try out my new Milford threads.
